🧑💻 New year-long digital nomad cruise is here
PLUS how to avoid burnout, nomads in 2024, how to host a digital nomad happy hour, and we learn what mileage runs are

Hey, remote work fam! This is Remote Insider your favorite spot to get up to speed on what's going on in the world of remote work and digital nomadism. In this email, we talk about...
a round-the-world digital nomad cruise
how to host a digital nomad happy hour
and why people are flying across the world & not leaving the airport
But first, do you feel like working remotely is making you feel more burned out and like you’re working longer hours? Here’s an easy-to-implement tip to avoid burnout…
🧨 How to Avoid Burnout by Creating Boundaries as a Remote Worker

Ali Pruitt is a remote work coach that helps remote workers and companies establish healthy work practices, and one of her top tips for avoiding burnout is also very easy to implement:
Start a “daily recap” group!
This can be as simple as a group message with your friends or coworkers where at a predetermined time of the day you share a quick outline of everything you did that day just before you log off from work.
This helps you feel accomplished about what you've done and, most importantly, it helps you dump out all of the work-related information that's on your mind.
🚢 Cruise Company is Offering Digital Nomads a World Trip for $30,000

Life at Sea Cruises has launched a new world cruise focused on digital nomads, and it sounds too good to be true!
The cruise will last 3 years, stop in 135 countries, and costs only $30,000 per year. While that’s no small amount, when you look at the full picture, it’s very affordable since that price includes all food & drink, unlimited Wi-Fi, access to a conference center with 14 offices, meeting rooms, lounge, and all the other amenities you can expect from a cruise like pools, restaurants, gyms and more.
If you’re in a relationship you will be happy to learn that the price is even more affordable since there is no additional cost if another person stays in your cabin!
Although we assume there has to be some sort of additional cost for food and drink…
The price starts at $30,000 for a 130 sq.ft. cabin, $41,000 for a 142 sq.ft. outside cabin, or if you’re feeling fancy a suite will set you back $110,000 a year.
The cruise is scheduled to set sail from Istanbul on November 1st.
